RyanJ (once upon a time known as Steele) was kind enough to write up an instructional guide on how to record a mix into your computer.
Thanks to RyanJ for going to the effort of writing it and Pulse for hosting it.
Part 1 (PDF) - The Hardware
Part 2 (PDF) - The Software (Windows Configuration)
Uhm, I'd like to ask whether is it possible to record like theseCDJ's not connected to the PCMixer is not connected
I plug in the RCA's behind my mixer and directly recording from my pc using Audcity. Is that possible?
Btw, mixer im using is the Stanton M.207..heres a picture of it
You can use the record outputs on the back of your mixer and connect it directly to your pc and record your mixes with Audacity
Just make sure your pc has a microphone or line in (99 % does)
Damn... my whole text is GONE Again! Please fix this #*@$)*$)*$)*)$*)*)* BUG
Okay you need a 3,5 mm jack to RCA cable
Goodluck:)
Okay thanks..mind telling me the setup for recording it? Or I can just record it directly if I have the microphone or line in?
You can just record it directly.
You only need the RCA to Jack 3,5 mm cable and you are ready to go!
Oh ok thanks
Oh btw, the RCA should be 2 to 1 and connected to the port? I mean the port as in the lap top's port that we usually plug in for speakers?
Have you read the walk-through recording guide, linked at the very top?
Nope == will soon
@DJiLone > No need to post more than once on the same issue please.
