1) Play your source on any channel with the S/R off
2) Ensure all effects on the EFX are OFF and the effect level is at 12
3) Turn the S/R on
4) Adjust the INPUT LEVEL on the EFX until the levels match (flip the S/R on and off repeatedly)
5) Select the WAH jog effect and flip the switch on
6) Adjust the OUTPUT LEVEL on the EFX until the levels match
You're now cleared to ROCK OUT!

hi, what is level 12? I know it sounds a bit stupid but im looking and i cant see what level 12 could be? thanks in advance :)
The 12o'clock position; straight up.
is it a similar method for the rmx 1000?
Exactly!
What effect (and on what settings) should I use for levelling with the RMX-1000? Connected through my DJM 2000 I can get the sound (without FX on on the RMX 1000) when the input and output are both set just round 13 o'clock. With the fx on it rises...
I use the BPF Echo with all the knobs turned all the way left.
Thanks Pulse, one things isn't completely clear to me. Step 1 through 4 is simple enough, and now my settings with these steps provide me with the same level of output through the RMX-1000 when i enable send&return on the DJM-2000. When i set the levels with the BPF Echo enabled i will have a slight raise of the levels on the DJM-2000 (1 or 2 bars) that's correct? Cause when i adjust the output on the RMX-1000 with the BPF Echo enabled i will have a lower output without any effects on the RMX-1000 enabled.
The level/depth knob on my DJM-2000 for send/return is set at 12 o'clock, that's a good position?
its not working for me i like to switch through channels on the mixer so i can just add effects to one track
but as i switch channels the master volume rises or lowers, if have everything set at 12 o clock it stays the same volumes as switch channels but the effects can come through to loud
Video to come.
Thanks, can't wait!
Hey Pulse, is there any word on the video for the RMX-1000? I would really appreciate it.
Sorry, forgot to link it...
Skip to about 1:30 for the bit about the levels.
Cool, thanks!
May I ask the effect the DJM mixer's Level/Depth has on Send/Recieve when using an EFX unit? (I use an EFX-500, have a non-Pioneer mixer myself, but often find myself using a DJM mixer at gigs). It seems if I use the Level/Depth at full, everything comes through super hot - do I need to adjust my input/output on the EFX unit to equalize? On the other hand, if I don't have Level/Depth at full, the effects can barely be heard, and the original signal is still overly present in the main mix.
@Nate > I normally keep it around 12 o'clock on the mixer too but you can adjust as necessary depending on how over-powering you want the effects to be. You can also adjust it on the RMX.
