Hey guys,
I hope it's ok to post this in here, it might hopefully be useful to some of you.
I'm writing a program to sync your Traktor database with your Rekordbox database. Track info, beatmarkers, playlists, everything can be exported from Traktor over to Rekordbox.
This is currently in beta and at a point where I need more people to start using it and point out problems or suggestions.
You can download the latest version from my Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/DamienSirkis
Keep in mind it is not ready for prime time yet but will hopefully get there with your help.
Thanks!

Damien, I'm going to leave it for now but please provide people with a direct link to the download rather than requiring a "like" on Facebook.
Please note that this is not a Pioneer supported tool and it is to be used at your own risk.
Pioneer reserves the right to remove the link and/or this thread at any time.
I dont see anything worng with him asking for a like for us to use his software for free. Sounds like a pretty good deal for me :)
Can this sync hot cues too?
There is a diabolic scheme behind the 'likes' but it's not what people would think :)
I announce updates thru my FB page so that way, everyone who 'likes' the page gets automatic update news in their news feed.
Having said that, yes it does support converting Traktor markers but for now those are only converted to memory cue points in rekordbox and not hot cues. The question is how to select which markers in Traktor become hot cues and which don't.
Give me some feedback as to how you would see this work better and I can look into adding the feature.
can your software go from rekordbox to tractor data? or just the other way around
The current version only supports syncing from Traktor to Rekordbox.
I am collecting feedback to see what users want in future versions, like syncing with iTunes also for example.
Rekord Buddy is up to version 0.94RC1. We are feature locked and on the way to the 1.0 release.
Time to hit me up with any post 1.0 feature requests :)
Is there a Windows version?
Unfortunately no. I only have Macs at home :)
@Charles > And it wouldn't be a matter of asking a friend with a Mac to do it either; the database is not able to migrate between PC and Mac because of the differences in file-folder structures. Sorry!
Pulse - you just read my mind. I was just considering that =D
Actually the only thing it relies on is the location of the track on your hard drive. That's how it matches entries in the Traktor and Rekordbox DB.
Everything else, like beat markers and other meta-data is synced on the fly.
