when i connect RB with my cdj's. the wave form comes up straight away. but, if i put my usb stick in the cdj. no waveforms appears at all. only until you press play and it forms as the song is playing. so how do i see waveforms straight away using a usb or sd card? hope this makes sense to someone and i must point out iv had the 2000's for a matter of days so only getting used to them. hope this isn't a silly question. cheers

Have you analyzed all the tracks and exported them to the USB using rekordbox? This must be done in order to see the waveforms straight away otherwise the CDJ will have to process it, just like when inserting a CD
all my tracks have put on record box and analyzed. now how do i get my tracks from record box to my usb or sd card?
Click on playlists on the left hand side of the screen. Right click on a playlist that you have made and select export to. Make sure your USB flash drive or external hard drive is connected.
so i did what you said, and now when i go to play a track it comes up with "E-8302 : Player Error (3611) what the hell does that mean? (and still no wave forms). HELP please!
just notice if i go to browse and then to folder and select a track that way it will play (but no waveform) but if i go to browse and select album or track then go to play the track, the error comes up. like i said. help please! cheers
i'm exporting from recordbox to USB. i'll tell you order i'v done it in....
download from beatport
put tracks into mixed in key
then put tracks into platinum notes
then put those tracks into record box and analyzed all tracks
then created a playlist.
then put my playlist onto my USB stick which is connected.
so what am i doing wrong?
thanks for your time on this also.
@David > If you go to the USB stick (Windows Explorer (PC) or Finder (Mac)) do you see a Pioneer and contents folder (they may be hidden)?
Have you the USB stick formatted to FAT32?
when i exported my tracks from RB to my USB stick. the folder said "contents" on it. which has my tracks in and the stick is formatted to FAT32. any ideas??
Gavin. all sorted now. i used an SD card and not the USB stick i was using and the wavefore came up straight away in the cdj and no errors. must of been the usb stick (do you think?). anyway. cheers for your help and your advice on getting a Corsair survivor usb (from a differnet forum).
@David > Ok, thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure why thats not working with the USB though - what make / model were you using?
it was a sony USB stick. just using my SD card at the moment. have ordered a corsair usb stick so will give that ago and inform you how things get on. cheers.
@David > Interesting, I'd love to know the results. Thanks for the update!
