Hey ya'll,
ive been looking for answers a couple days on how to properly connect my DJM 900 nexus to traktor pro 2(fully lisenced of course), ive gone through Pulse' PC set for it, but it seems to be a little different for mac. the Input and output routing in traktors prefrences the mixer is from 0 - 7 instead of 1 - 8 which has me very confused. the audio went through the mixer but no time code control, also do i get visual feedback from traktor to my mixer that its working right some how? Im trying to hook up two technics 1200's and cdj 900s. Any help would be amazing! Ps, is the djm have a factory midi template already configured when its connected to traktor? Sorry if im asking too much!
Cheers, rory.

@rorak > Don't worry about the input channel numbers, unfortunately that's just the way they appear. ;) It should still work out to be the same if you connect them as 0 - 1, and 2 - 3, then 4 - 5, lastly 6 - 7.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by " the audio went through the mixer but no time code control"?
Did you have a timecode CD in a CDJ connected to the mixer?
Yes, if you watch Pulse's video HERE, at 3:00 you can see the timecode signal in the "Preferences" window under "Timecode Setup".
If you could please follow that video I posted above, and please also take a look at this video HERE.
As for the MIDI settings... the DJM-900 is not meant to control the Traktor software. It is to be used as a hardware mixer that is Traktor certified and can replace the Audio XX DJ sound card from NI. ;)
I hope those videos are helpful and please feel free to ask more questions if need. :)
@foster thanks for the help! I tried the timecode with vinyl time code. And what i meant was that, audio from deck one in traktor was comming into channel 1 on the mixer, but no time code control. Im going to try the time code cd in my cdj-900 when i get home from work. Ill report back with my findings in the morning!
Cheers
@rorak > It sounds like it's good if you have the audio on deck 1 going into channel 1. But what do you mean by "time code control"?
There shouldn't be any HID control over Traktor when using time code. Which means not all of the buttons will work on the CDJ's with Traktor, unless you set them up to use in HID mode.
Sounds good, let me know how it goes. :)
