Hey guys, how long before advanced hid is supported with serato? I only ask as i will need to use them for video mixing but simply won't be putting up with timecode.
Also, are the ethernet ports as fragile as the old ones? Even when looked after, a well travelled player will be very sensitive to disconnects if the cable is knocked slightly. This is a huge problem when djs are plugging in interfaces / laptops throughout the night. All three of my players have become prone to this over time. Seems that the weakness with the 1000's was the play/cue buttons. They became more resilient with the intro of the 2000s so im hoping for the same with the ethernet ports this time round..

And before anyone says what's the point in upgrading, i only use serato for 30% of my shows : )
@tripster > It's currently in the process, and will be announced when available. No estimated timeline is available at the moment.
£1600 / $2400
I've seen them at retail for $1999
+1 re the ethernet ports!
I have some Spacetek stands for my CDJ 2000's, I want to know if the Nexus will fit on them fine? They are a pretty snug fit.
@Martin > They will fit, yes. I believe the only change size wise is the Nexus is 1mm taller than the MK1.
Gavin Could You Be Able To Tell Me When the retail release date for the nexus is..? Holding off buying 2000's. Thanks
@Christopher > The press release mentioned the end of September.
