So let's say i got my phone with android.

I'm going to a club with CDJ-2000's , I link the CDJ-2000NXS with a cable towards a switch and connect it to the regular CDJ-2000's.

Can i send wifi rekordbox data to the regular CDJ-2000's Via the Nexus?

@Sammy > Unfortunately no, as the CDJ-2000nexus displays as a WIFI capable player and is capable of receiving and temporarily storing the track you send. The CDJ-2000 hardware is not capable of this.

So like if i Link two CDJ-2000's and One CDJ-2000 Nexus it won't be able to share wifi data towards the regular CDJ-2000 , i really thought there would be some backwards compatability.

@Sammy > As far as I know; No that unfortunately will not be possible. The CDJ-2000nexus will appear on your mobile device to send tracks to, the CDJ-2000 will not appear. You won't see the CDJ-2000 to send a track to via wifi, and the CDJ-2000 hardware is not capable of supporting the wifi method. So unfortunately no, the CDJ-2000 will not be able to access and temporarily store tracks that are sent from a wireless device, even if they are Linked to a CDJ-2000nexus using the wireless device as the source.

But the CDJ-2000 Nexus can be linked with a normal CDJ-2000 on the usual way (lan-cable) right??

@X-treme > Yes, functions and capabilities on the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900 will be compatible with the CDJ-2000nexus after a future firmware update for the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900.

So wireless devices don't work over prolink then?

@T-Top > Wireless devices can work with the CDJ-2000nexus in 2 different ways:

1. Via hard line to the CDJ-2000nexus.
2. Wirelessly via a wireless router connected to the CDJ-2000nexus via LAN.

Therefore it is necessary to have a LAN connection with the CDJ-2000nexus if you want to load tracks wirelessly.

^^ Currentley you can send tracks to cdjs via your laptop and rekordbox if your connected via Lan. Will you be able to send tracks to normal 2000's through your laptop connected via LAN from a wireless device this sems more then attainable? doesn't require anything more outta the cdj.
