First of all, please locate the Caps Lock button on your keyboard and press it so that the little light goes off. Thanks
Secondly, you most likely want to put your EFX on the Send/Return loop of the DJM. That means you need four cables with 1/4" TS jacks at each end, aka bog standard unbalanced/mono jack cables, aka guitar jack leads. An alternative is to run the send that way, but bring the return back into one of the DJM's channels using RCA cables, which gives you more flexibility as you have more control over the EQ and volume of the returned signal. If you have a spare channel that might be worth doing. |

Yes, just use the Send/Return loop with 1/4" cables as Quaestor said. This information is provided in the EFX manual.

As I said, RCA (aka "phono") cables.
I didn't get any digital cables with my DJM800 *huff*. For good quality cables I recommend SCSI Bobs. Stay out of his "hifi" section where he rips off idiot "audiophiles" with more money than sense by selling rhodium-plated spade terminals etc... but his studio cables are good value and well made from decent components, better than anything you can get at Maplin etc. |

You don't want to connect it to one of your channels - the Send/Return loop is a much more versatile use of the effector.
As for the cables, chances are you didn't get any special digital cables in the box (AFAIK they don't package them with any). Just go shopping for any 75ohm cables designed for video or digital interconnects. Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |

Care to explain? I suggested running the return into a channel (the send remains on Send) so that he can EQ the returned signal and has the option of killer feedback loops. What does using the Return give you? |

Using the return gives you 1 hand, 1 channel operation, no need to worry about manipulating that second channel of audio and potentially forgetting it and leaving dead air.
