are these compatible? looking to upgrade my mixer so can use my laptop and use traktor scratch/ableton etc. The Zero 4 looks ideal, but i cant see send returns on it? if not any one recommend a decent mixer for these purposes, many thanks

I assume you mean the EFX1000, and yes, they are "compatible" but the Zero4 doesn't seem to have a send/return or auxiliary function. If you wanted to use the EFX it would have to be placed either between a CD deck and the mixer, only allowing for effects on that one CD deck, or post-master which would only allow you to effect the master audio output.
