Hello there... i really love efx-1000 in my live setup.. but the point is i am a producer too and i would love to use efx in my ableton7 daw. As an example... Is there any way to record the effects from efx-1000 on a midi channel inside live? to make it easier... les say u open a vst instrument, u record a melody and then lets say you want to effect it with efx-1000 and record it inside live. How is this possible? and how can you connect it with ableton?

If you want to to use the audio effects you need to route the channel through a SEND/RETURN. The audio from that channel goes out of your soundcard, through the EFX and back into the soundcard.

If you want to use the EFX as a MIDI controller, you just set it up as a MIDI remote device and assign the buttons and knobs to any parameter.

I have an NATIVE INSTRUMENTS AUDIO KONTROL 1 soundcard... i hope thats possibble to be connected to EFX 1000...
