HELLO, I'M A LITTLE NEW AT THIS. USUALLY I'M PRETTY GOOD AT TROUBLESHOOTING CONECTIVITY ISSUES, BUT NOW I'M STUMPED. I WANT TO CONNECT MY PIONEER EFX-500 TO MY PYLE PRO 19" MIXER USING THE RCA INPUT/OUTPUT. THE MIXER SAYS SEND/RECEIVE NOT SEND/RETURN. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE? WHEN IT IS CONNECTED I CANNOT GET THE EFFECTS ON SEPERATE CHANNELS TO GET THAT SMOOTHER TRANSACTION IN MIXING. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP, IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

YOUR PROBLEM IS YOUR CAPSLOCK IS ON!

You don't want to connect 2 mixers using the send/return of one. You should run the master output from one into the other.

i don't have 2 mixers. i'm trying to connect 1 mixer to 1 efx-5oo unit. my mixer has the send/recieve jacks (rca) not send/return. is there a difference? when it is connected correctly (i think) i still don't get effects on seperate channels. the effect is always heard on both channels. does send/return work with rca cables/jacks??

Sorry, I had a brain-fart when I read about the Pyle. Razzer

There is no difference between the Send/Receive and Send/Return.

How it differs from mixer to mixer is the function (per channel / Master) and return point of the audio. Your mixer might have a "global return", you may want to read the manual to see how to operate it properly.

Thank you, this helps. My mixer probably does have a "global return" like you say because by the looks of it everything is connected properly, but I still get the effects on both channels simultaneously. I read the manual and it says really nothing about those inputs. Thanks...I'm planning on getting a whole new setup anyway...
