Hi, I've checked over some of the other threads about my problem but none of the solutions provided have helped me.

Basically the jog wheel on my efx-500 is non-responsive 99.9% of the time, it occasionally works when I rotate it anti-clockwise but only for a matter of seconds. I've tried lifting the wheel up slightly, but that hasn't helped.

I'm guessing I'm fast approaching the point where I need to open it up and have a fiddle about inside with something, but I'm not sure what I'd be looking at or infact what I'd be doing when I figured out what bits were what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It could well be that the contacts have worn out (or something along those lines). Your best bet is to contact technical support via the links at the top of this page.
