I wanted to know what type of Video Mixer is working well for you.
I bought a XXXXXXX XXXXX and out of the box it was dead. I was hesitant to buy it because I saw a lot of these mixers being sold as refurbished units on line. I did buy it new <SNIP>. They will take it back and credit me the $XXX I spent on it. i really need a video mixer with 3 video inputs. I wish Pioneer made a 800 board with 4 video inputs without all the other goodies at a lower price. I would buy it without hesitation. I cant afford the Pioneer SVM 1000, I am considering the DJM 800 and the SVW-1 or the Edirol V4. Is anyone using these combinations and what are your experiences and thoughts? Thanks, Jeff This message has been edited. Last edited by: djjay, |

The SVM is awesome, but yes VERY EXPENSIVE, and worth it!!!!! I use the 800 w/ a VSW and it works great. You could use any mixer from Pioneer as long as it has Fader Starts (all do) with a VSW and you'd be fine. A DJM-400 would work!!!!!

I have both the sv-1000 and 800 with v4 and both r very nice. The 800 and v4 has more video fades for beat mixing and u can get a small boc that will take 4 video inputs and turn your 20 inch lcd tv into a quad screen viewer. U can get them at sercity hardware stores $70 bucks. I do not like the vsw-1 becasue its a hard cut and look liek poop!
