Hello,
Been getting this error on one of my DVJ-X1. I got the fact that the deck can't read the TOC. The discs that recieve this error read fine in my other decks. I did get a few random discs to play in the deck that is giving me the error. My question is, has anyone else experienced this? My guess is the laser is out of alignment. Thanks everyone. |

Are you using firmware 3.0? If not, email me and I'll send it over.

Hello Pulse,
I checked and I have 3.0 firmware loaded on all of my decks. Any advice you may have on this read error would be greatly appreciated. |

Usually 83xx errors are read-errors, I'm not sure why it would give you a 7201 error on a TOC read, so yeah, it could need a realignment / calibration. I'd call technical support to see what they have to say about it.

Sorry if you misunderstood - "I'd contact technical support" means "you should contact technical support".
