Mirek - I'm not 100% sure about what you're describing for the channel fading but I'm pretty sure there is the ability to do what you're desiring.

As for effects mixing, you'd be surprised - there's actually more you can do than just the standard set of fade, wipe, switch, chroma, chroma, luma. Wink

After playing with the SVM-1000 A LOT at NAMM, I found that it is one bad ass mofo. If you think that you're limited to the six A/B transitions for video, then...WRONG! With the creative touch, you can find ways to combine transitions to make some really kick-butt effects. For example, assign CH3 to B and CH2 to A. Then set A/B to Fade and apply and engage the Touch Cube EFX (video only) to CH2 w/ Level Depth at 100%. Then, fade from B to A and gradually drop level to depth back to 0. This will give you a fade to cube then back to full screen. Trust me, it looks awesome.

The biggest comment was the size, but remember...it's a 19-inch mixer that weighs less than 30 pounds.

Yes it can be rack mounted. The edge of the mixer unscrews and makes room for ears

Do you mean you can expose already present rack ears by removing the edge covers or do you mean you can attach separately available rack ears after removing the edge covers?

YES the outside panel removes with 2 screws a side to expose rack ears that come WITH the unit.

I'll try to find a picture
