Hi I have a number of videos I want to burn to dvd to play in my dvj100. At the moment once i ve burnt the disc in roxio toast on my mac I have the problem that to skip tracks I have to use the title button on my deck. I want to just sikp through like any other disk.

Im struggling to find an answer to this on roxios web site so wondered if anyone could help.

There's indexes and chapters on DVDs. You need to make sure you're not using the wrong one. Wink

im sure its chapters i need to be using and within roxio you get the option of no chapters or every 1 minute 2 minutes tec. I guess what im actually asking is how do i manually set each chapter at the start of each indivdual music video. So I can skip through tracks as i would if playing a promo only dvd.

i have now managed to get the chapters sorted by using imovie then exporting to a quicktime movie then straight into toast and selecting automaic chapters. The problem I have now is the dvd plays fine in one of my dvj1000 but my other deck wont read it at all. cant understand why. anyone got any ideas.

Roxio Toast....while a powerful and simple to use Burning program.
It may not give you the greatest flexibility.

While it may put the chapter marks in for you.
It does this within each video.

But it burns each video as a seperate Title Track.
So in order to move to the next video you must use the Title + / - buttons.
yes this sucks.

Best is to use DVD studio pro....will allow you to place chapter markers....
create one continuous Video Title......automatic play on insert....auto loooping etc...

Search the forums for my instructions on how to use DVD studio pro to do so.
