RV NUCCIO & Associates who writes DJ insurance told me today that becasue I use video they will not write me. I called 4 times and they never seem to pick up the phone. The people there do not know what a DVJ from a CDJ or for that fact everyone with Serado I guess will get dropped. Then when she looked at my web site she said I am not a DJ at all but a promoter. She said lower my voice as she went on telling me what I do. The fact my truck lic plate says DJRONC and she said the 9100 pictures on www.clubsac.com do not mean anything.
So if you have insurance from this company make sure you are covered becasue they willnot cover VIDEO at all. The manager and sales woman told me this. By the way they have the power to tell if your a DJ or not. Wow what powers!!!!
This company gets 10 thumbs down for super supid. How do you sell DJ insureance and she did not know anything.

Holy crap dude. That's bad luck if there ever was some. Not to mention... where do they get off, and how did they decide that video's not covered?

Hey Ron, how about every time you post you somehow manage to get your website in there?

I dont sell anything on my website just alot of pitures DJing with Pioneer DVJ turntables. Or according to RV I am not a DJ I am a promoter and DJing is not Video. You know RV is the company that underwrites all the DJ policies. And if you DJ video you will have no coverage. Pulse that hella made me mad on the phone she had no clue. She said playing videos is not DJing its video tech? What the hell....

I Can see how an insurance company would say it's video tech, after all they'll come out with any excuse not to pay out.

They where very rude to me and would not insure me they looked at my website and said i was a promoter and not a DJ! clubsac.com is my site and I post my pictures and videos of clubs I DJ at and the manager was so very rude Telling me what I do. I could not beleave this I am a video dj and she said they do not cover video djing. And also not cover promoters that I am not - we all post pictures of our hardware and us live djing to get the high paying gigs. This company was the most rudest people I have ever talked to thats if they get the phone. So what if I had a claim? I could just see how hard that would be - I found a great company and the people are freindly like my home and car insurance. I have a svm-1000 and 2 dvdj-x1 I need insureance and RV will never get my money or time. I am 44 and have never had someone on a phone tell me what I do....

Are you a member of NAME? I think they use another company that insures me, no problem and very responsive. Check out NAME ( National Association of Mobile Entertainers) and see if you can join thema nd then get the insurance...
