I just got the VSW-1, I am trying to use with my DJM 800 & DVJ 1000's. I cant get the fader start to work with the VSW-1 Fader start does work even directly connected to the DJM 800 (by-passing the VSW-1) only. I have followed the diagrams to hook up the mini jacks in the VSW-1 manual & the DJM 800.

While using the VSW-1 in auto mode I still have to manualy switch from A & B to see Video on channel 1 or 2. I dont know what else to try. I cant understand why both hook ups dont work.

Any help would be appreciated!

I answered my own question I did not ingage fader start buttons on Mixer. I got it finally got it working properly.

Good set-up i'm using the 600 with the vsw-1 and a panasonic video mixer gives u more video outputs with a regular dvd on 1 channel playing ambients and my mac book pro for ads / messaging or any thing i want on the screen with the vsw-1 on the other playing the live mix...

On another VSW-1 issue:

anyone have a 1000 and an X1 running through it? my other x1 is in the shop and the sync doesn't seem to work properly with the 2 different models. it worked ok when i plugged the x1 back up to it to test the issue.

nothing special just composite video with the BNC sync cables hooked into the back.

Be sure you have the sync switch set to the correct setting!
