I just bought a 4 gig high capasity SD card. I formatted this SD card to Fat 32. I cant use it in the DVJ 1000. I keep getting a CARD ERROR message upon loading the SD card in the DVJ 1000 SD slot after I close the SD door.
No where in the pioneer DVJ 1000 manual does it state a size recommendation or limitation for SD cards. What size should I use? Thanks, Jeff |

Did you format it on the machine itself?

Seems like a waste of a 4 gig card, can't you find something smaller?

you have to format the card in the unit, and as to space 4g is fine it's just that you won't ever fill it up becasue of the data size on cues and loop...

4GB would be fine if it weren't HC-SD. HC cards are NOT supported.

I went to Walmart and bought a Lexar 1 Gig SD card. I did not format it, I just simply loaded it in the SD slot and it worked perfectly. No where in the DVJ manual did I see directions to format the SD card in the DVJ as you had suggested.
