WOW! Some seriously expensive equipment here!

Do you not find the SVM very high up though?

You're English is perfect man!

Is the case on casters or something because I would imagine there is some serious weight in it with the power conditioner, mixer and recorder etc.?

I'd love to see some other pics from different angles....

Looks really good. I think that I would also need a ladder to operate this rig.

Hey djcaluda, such a cool set-up. I have recently bought an SVM 1000 and 2 dvj 1000's plus cd decks - but so far have not been able to talk to somebody who operates the same sort of rig. I see you operate projectors - what outputs are you using rgb or svideo, over what length and what is the res like. Thanks T
Oh and where did u get your svm 1000 case from?

TinaHot,
I always use the component out from the SVM-1000 and have run cables up to 100' without a problem. For longer or multiple runs, I connect the SVM-1000's component out to a component video distributor to relay the signal to multiple sources up to 150'. A projector also works well with a component source given its the correct projector for the job.

Below is an image of a JPEG displayed via the SVM-1000 JPEG Viewer on a 103" Panasonic plasma. The SVM-1000 output resolution displayed the image and the video content beautifully via the component outputs.

Odyssey Gear turned a custom case order around in 3 days at a very affordable rate, although it is over 55 lbs loaded, so if you plan to fly with your gear, I encourage you to go with a Pelican case. The Odyssey custom case is shown below:

Great gear! I Like.

I agree with you on the Odyssey case, it is heavy and I ended up with the Pelican case to avoid the overweight baggage fee. HOWEVER, be very careful because TSA and/or the airline baggage handlers can really f#$@ up your gear.

Hi,

thanks for the info. I ended up buying the cases from my local Sydney Pioneer Dealer Light and Sounds. The cases are rugged and look the part. If you see my post in the mixers forum under SVM mK 2 there are some photos. Re the output I am using the s video out but am about to go to a 2.5 m screen and may consider a VGA upscaler. I wonder if the Gods would consider a forum just for the SVM? T

Nice gear. Looks like the enterprise control console. Awesome!
Anyone ever feel like they could use an extra arm or two to run it all.

I also have an odyssey coffin with sliding rack ontop and it is heavy loaded.
Feels like i got a body inside. But it all fits in one box, well except for all the extra junk.

I must say that it was the fulaste the presentation I have seen in a long time, I thought that a dj should be highlighted, not hidden, you may stand up on a stool for you to appear, what did you think of?
