If you use LCD make sure you keep your projector filters cleaned. And if u r a teck nerd open the projector after warranty of course and keep your polorizers or blockers clean. These are the red green blue small glass cuts that are right after the LCD. If smoke or dust gets on them green and blue will burn and give your projector a cloud effect. The service can be more then the projector is worth. DPL is not so bad but I do not like color wheels and I can see the rainbow. I did get lazy and had to change 4 mirrors in two projectors. If anyone needs some help you can goggle or youtube how to clean polorizers and glass yourself and save $.
