simple question:

where do you guys pick up nice, heavy duty composite video cables for your DVJs. the cheapie ones are usually so stiff and i've had the pins break off in the output before (thank for for needle nose). most places like monoprice.com have great cabling but it's always in the A/V combo with the L/R audio cords attached. all i want is just the VIDEO. i have an older monster cable one which is great but that junk is so overpriced. i'd like to order 9 or so to save and keep the extra one or two around for backup.

anyone have a favorite brand/type of cabling?

I <3 MONOPRICE!

For cheap, these are good, but I'm not a huge fan of the molded jacks.

But what I don't get is a BETTER cable is CHEAPER?! << Get those ones when they're in stock!

Those cables are available in 3, 6, 12, 25 and 50' lengths.

Look in the yellow pages for Electronics Wholesalers. You can usually get RG-6 or RG-11 cable cut to custom lengths and they'll put good compression connectors on for a couple of bucks each.

I custom cut every cable that I use and buy compression connectors in bulk. If you're looking for pre-fab stuff tho, the links Pulse posted above are a good deal. Another good source is allelectronics.com. They have a huge selection of all kinds of interesting things, and a wide assortment of cable.
