yo , not gonna make it longer , i got creative sound blaster live and im sure one of you hear'd about that chat program called PALTALK ... plenty of djs came in to dj some are amateur some are pro .... my issue is clear since i got this sound card i only can play music through my sound card but i cant talk on mic over music .. before i used the stereo mix option in my integrated sound card and the mic seems workin until i used this external sound ... anyone got a trick or tip to help me out that will be apreciated . peace out ^5

what i don't get is what the PALTALK has to do with it? the way you wrote this it sounds like it's related, but i think not.

i have used many SBLive, the main issue will be the software you are using to do what you are doing.

are you trying to record mic over music, or just hear mic over music?

It sounds like a settings issue, not a hardware issue, i need more information on what you are using software wise.

What software are you using?

is has nothin to do with the softwares ! its simple setting for my creative sound card , so i can talk over the music using my mic , i know how to set it up with an integrated sound card but this creative is such mess so the whole problem is about the setting , no software or anything !

for the software even it has nothin to do with , im using jetaudio and atomix

If the creative card comes with a software utility for mixing it should have the ability to mix in the mic and line inputs. How exactly to do this I'm not sure, it depends on the software.

If it doesn't, you should be able to do it using window's own built in mixer. In all likelihood though, the mic input is not enabled properly or not selected on the card through the windows mixer.
