Yes. I've had nights when I couldn't mix my way out of a wet paper bag. It happens. Your best bet is to listen to some COMPLETELY different music or perhaps your favourite tunes, then go back to trying.

Some times it's just the day so try again tomorrow and don't be discouraged!

Been there done that. When the HH or dancey tracks aren't mixing, I retire to my BIG HAIR 80's METAL and THRASH METAL or INDUSTRIAL and GOTH!!!!!!

Also here is a couple of my mixes from this past Saturdays Wedding dance fest-

Kiss Kiss
Toxic
Soulja Boy
Zombie Nation

Worked well with everything being in the 140 range...

I think we've all had it happen. It's worse when you're out at a club and it happens, but depending on how good you are (and the style you happen to be playing) you can usually fake it a bit.

As Pulse and Jay have said, just relax and try again later, or the next day. It'll come back, always does.

Definately! I had one drunk reveller slap my Torq Xponent {before the bouncers took care of him} while DJing at an 18th and 21st. He managed to stop all audio mid-song. With a few words out on the mic and a decent song next, no one cared!
