Im looking for a nice turntable/mixer stand that can also hold 200+ records. I've seen a few online but the run upwards of $500. Is anyone using something that works just fine but is about half that price? I looked at actual bookshelves that were about 3 ft tall and 4 ft wide (seemed like they would do the trick) but I didn't pick 'em up yet. Thanks for any help guys

That table under all that is a simple $50 fold up. It's a strong plastic mold with a steel frame reinforcement. It's fold in two, and I put it at the bottom of my hatchback with no problems.

As you can see, it holds all the equipment, and if there was room for 200 lp's...it'd hold that too. On the far left of the picture is my amp rack, and that ish is close to 100lbs by itself.

I bought my table at Home Cheapo for under $50, so hopefully that helps you out. (And for those that can't stand lights on the ground or on the table...I just bought a truss system that can be broken down to 2 single trees or built up to a 10' x 10' truss so new pictures are comin soon)

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/files/brochures/05_DJ/05_DJ_Stands.pdf

Step 1) Get a friend in Europe

Step 2) Have him/her snag a set of those

Step 3) Have your podnah ship them to ya!

DON'T ATTEMPT TO ORDER DIRECTLY AND HAVE SHIPMENT SENT TO THE U.S.A. That process is a nightmare of the "Chili before sleep" order.

or

get some ideas from here: http://www.sefour.com/download/2003.pdf

Peace!

I bought a dj station much like the first one in sefour from GC. A company called Studio RTA makes it. It cost about 299. It should hold everything that you are looking for. However it isn't very mobile, so if you are planning on taking it out to gigs then I would go with the table Biggun mentioned...

The pic is kinda small and hard to see but I think it is about what I am looking for (don't need anything mobile really) BTW where or what is GC, where you got it from? Thanks for the reply
