with the 909 out of the picture for now, would the 707 best suite me along with

a efx-500?

SCRATCHING(alot of)/mixing/effects/overlapping/mostly a lil bit of everything....

reggae/hip-hop/techno/

lets not forget about effects, i know the 707 is not *equiped*(sorry don't have a dictionary..lol..but i think it's spell correctly) like the 909, so for now, 2 CDJ-800's and a djm-707 with a efx-500.....hows that for my set-up i've longing for? later on, i mean when i save more *change*..lol.. i'mma switch from the '800's to the 1000mkII's along with a djm-909.

after much debate with my self(which was for about half a month), that this what i figure to be my set-up for months to come

If you can afford a 707 AND an EFX500, is it too big of a jump just to go straight to the 909 mixer?

By all means, do what you like- it is your $$$... If you will be buying a second rig\setup eventually, would you rather get the expensive stuff now? Or do you think it is easier to save up and buy the big stuff later?

Like I said, the choice is yours to make. But before you spend the cash, plan it out so you aren't kicking yourself later.

that did cross my mind,(but other than that "the jump" would've been easy) but really i made my chioce about the 707 mixer before i found out about the 909. if they did have it, it must have been out of stock than and there.

...i saw the 707 down the block in the nearest guitar center(*nearest* my bad, nearest as in about 70 miles away), i tryed it out and like it. so i ordered it and now it arrived. So i guess i was left in the dark about the 909, my conclusion is that, any info about anything wouldn't be pass on to a punk like me. so hopefully that answers the ? about buying all the big stuff right now.

but when i go back to that store everyone will be glad to see me..lol..

money wise i could sell some of my art work, if ya'll want i can give your MKII's or 800 a lil custom airbrush work....lol....
