I've just taken on a new weekly gig that requires me to play some tribal house later in the night. Although I have always had an appreciation for this genre, I've never really had any need for tribal house in the clubs that I worked in.

I'm looking for some track recomendations from people who are more familiar with it than I am. If I can get a few suggestions from a few different people, I'll be off to a good start.

Thanks in advance!

make sure to include the French masters of tribal house:

Antoine Clamaran

Laurent Wolf

Martin Solveig (also under Africanism name)

DJ Gregory (also under Africanism name)

Bob Sinclar (also under Africanism name)

some other good stuff on the French percu-only label "ROYAL DRUMS". YELLOW PRODUCTIONS (from Bob Sinclar) is mostly tribal but not always. And otherwise there is Martin Solveig's MIXTURE label.

also:

DJ Fist

Chus & Ceballos

With those you can rock all night awesome tribal house!

Many more titles in my recordbox, but these are often 1 shot productions...but darn good ones (I spin tribal aswell, but not all the time)

Pulse is at namm - furthermore, pulse isn't a tribal dj - he will play some tribal once in a while, but that's not what he usually plays

Subliminal B sides are normally on a tribal tip.
D Ramirez remixes are 'quite dark' tribal.

Zouk has a very fine taste when it comes to production. Check out one of his first songs, remixed by Chus & Ceballos - Enchantments. Digital Morfine, Guerrila Suburbana, Kashmira, Shine on (Carlos Manaa remix) are also great songs. From Vibe & Pete tha Zouk comes two of the most famous here in Portugal - "Acontece", and "Solid Textures" (another great song).
I also like Vibe's remix of Resonate from Calderone and Quayle.
And I've heard Carl Cox saying very good things about Mosquito Polen when Vibe unleashed in at Pacha, Ibiza, last Summer.

_Manny_C_ also check Victor Calderone sounds...

im surprised no ones mentioned marcello castelli! he's the absolute bomb, love almost every remix he turns in.

another good label worth keeping an eye on (cant remember if its been mentioned) is low pressings and junior. both do a bit of everything but their roots are firmly planted in drums.

current hot tune in my rotation: Carlos Francisco - La Ligia (Running Home mix) it does get a bit epic with the strings tho.

im keen to hear julian poker's new mix of an indart and colorz tune. i heard its well bomb.

edit: ooh i loved enchantments. that was a seriously twisted tune. i didnt think it was his first production though? i know ive got old remixes of his, but i thought he had done some other work solo prior to that.
