I am appreciating the nice artsy look to some of the labels, but I am not getting the advantage of the very small thumbnails other than for their artsy-ness. Certainly at that size you would have to be pretty familiar with those thumbnails to associate them with any useful information, and in a less than bright lighting situation? I'm having a real hard time with that one.

I made a spot on template that is not discernible from the Promo Only labels, but I don't like their 3 column organization for "at a glance" finding.

I was using word for years, and recently switched to excel, just for the convenience of organizing the lists based on BPM, Key, or alphabet, depending on what kind of disc it is. For color I use a circular 3/4" circle that designates the genre, duplicated on the upper half of the disc with a colored sharpie. And the of course, the good ol' highlighter for those big bangers.

PM - the thumbnail JP uses on his labels is the image from Beatport for that single / release. Think of it like the visceral appeal of looking at a vinyl jacket, some guys can quickly glance at their records and know which Hooj song it is simply by the colours used... personally, it doesn't do a huge amount for me but it helps, every bit does!
