Hey there,
I plan on buying an external sound card and some form of software in which to start recording my mixes live. This is my first attempt so i dont really know what im doing yet. What i am wondering is, if i buy a sound card for my pc, will it be compatible with a mac when i decide to buy one later on down the track. The same with the software. Can most of them transfer over? |

It depends what soundcard you buy, best to check the manufacturer's specs, same with the software. Most i,e ableton are mac and pc compatable again check with specs from the manufacturer.

Kel...
Depends on what your are trying to do. If you are looking to record your mixes or your looking to do a little more production. Also depends how many inputs your going to need..oh and how much $$$ you want to spend. Let me know and we'll see if I can point you in the right direction. A real basic but had alot of features is the novation nio, only $200. Check out novation's website. |
