They're the same for each platform.

Sorry i just realised i didnt word my thread very well.

So it doesnt matter if i install it on a mac or a pc, i will be able to use every feature?

Why is it that mac are considered superior for music production?

Or are they better when it comes to more comprehensive, proffessional music production programs?

As a PC user and fan, even I admit that the MAC has it over the PC for musical editing and video work. It's a more edit friendly intuitive platform for producers, remixers and in general those who do "artistic" work...

I am looking at a Mac Book Pro so I can have my cake and eat it too!!!!

I think MACs are harder, because I haven't used them. As far as Ableton goes, it's the same on both PC/MAC for use. You don't gain on one over the other..

I have Ableton 6 running on a PC at home and an iMac on the road. The iMac takes a ton more abuse than the PC but yet I still work faster on it. It's the far better machine for Ableton, for me.

I should also point out that I come from a PC backround and this iMac is the only Apple product I've ever bought and I'm no zealot on either side of the PC vs Mac debate - I just use what works.

I'll knock on your pluralization of "Mac's" instead of "Macs". Virii is correct. Wink
