So guys,

Any suggestions on hum eliminators? My problem is that I run the mixing console off a different isolated power supply from the DAW system and thus I get ground leakage through one or the other across the audio channel. It's not horrible but is noticeable.

I was thinking about getting an HE-2 from ebtech, I've heard reasonably good things but wanted some input from anyone that may use this unit, or one like it.

Keep in mind that quality transformer boxes are NOT cheap. I looked into a handmade stereo box for home computer use (I had nasty hum when interconnecting audio between two desktop computers) and it was going to cost around $250.

Well I ended up purchasing an HE-2 from the local high end audio shop here in town (which btw doesn't sell pioneer gear? WTF?). Plugged it in and it totally eliminated the hum with no noticeable signal loss or loss in quality.

I also ordered a cheaper one from newegg and plan to A-B the two against each other. After that I'll probably write up a small explanation of how to fix this issue, since I know it comes up a lot with people.

Well got the second unit in today. I'll plug it in and test it tomorrow.
