I am in the process of ripping my vinyl to mp3.

I have search for a lazy solution which could

-trim begin and end of each songs
-remove clip/pop
-normalize
-export in mp3

in a form of a macro or batch processing...
i have few undreds of song directly record from my lp and saved in .wav

all the song were carefully monitored - no clipping and always more than -6db in avg.

i have found a lot of software to convert in mp3 and normalize automatically... but 'batching' the triming and click and pop is harder to find....

any suggestions?

another question :

if all my tracks are recorded at a proper level...do I really need to normalize?
I have done a few test and found that sometimes it lower the volume for nothing...

I have never heard of any software that will automatically trim tracks like you are saying.

If your tracks are recorded at proper levels, there is no need to normalize, in fact, normalization is destructive in nature.

I'd say make sure you back up your .wavs... that is the one thing that i regret about my early days of vinyl ripping.

I will double backup then, for sure.
