I use the Sound Forge plugin - CD Architect... really sweet. It'll even burn!
If you don't have the plugin, you can use any wav editing software to chop your mix into pieces (songs), and when you're burning, make sure you set the software not to have the 2 second gap btwn tracks. Tip: work backwards down the mix. Reason being that the file writes itself from start to finish, so if you make the changes at the end of the file, it only modifies the end, but if you change the begining, it has to re-write the entire file. I found a program awhile back called Feurio which has worked wonders for me. It's a little tricky to learn all the features in it, but once you do, you'll have yourself a very powerful audio burner.
The track editor will allow will allow you to add markers to pieces of audio that will give you broken down tracks on the CD, not just one long Track 1. Took me awhile to figure it out, but.. I love it. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about it. You can find it at www.feurio.com |

Also check out CDWav
http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~mjmlooijmans/cdwave/ This program allows you to take one big WAV file and cut it into seperate WAV files for tracks. If you don't use CDWav and just use another program, it's important to cut files on exactly 1/74th of a second. If you don't cut to the nearest 74th the burner will fill it in with blank space. The result is a tiny but noticeable click. CDWav cuts to the nearest 74th automatically. |
