I will be getting a DJM 800 soon and I would like to take advantage of the digital out for recording purposes. Unfortunately, my sound card doesn't have a digital in (only out). I am considering picking up a new sound card, but I wanted to get some opinions on whether this will be a worthwhile investment.

Can anyone comment on improvement in recording quality using the digital interface?

Obviously all-digital is better, but do you think I will notice a difference vs using a line-in for recording?

Any input would be appreciated!
