If you're going to be doing recording you need a board that's designed for recording like a mackie www.mackie.com
The DJM isn't really designed for that. You need a board with more balanced XLR inputs than the DJM has to offer. For less than what you'd pay for a DJM you can get a really nice 16 channel 4 bus stereo mackie. Much better suited for recording. (unless you're talking about recording DJ mixes. I'm talking about live recording) [This message has been edited by Gary O (edited 01-22-2001).] |

quote: lolz, yea i looked at the mackie, i think maybe in about 10 years? i MIGHT get one, that is way over my head that mixer has EVERYTHING to it. i just need something that has alot of options and doesn't compromise too much on sound, so far the pioneer djm-600 looks good for me and for what i want to do right now. thank you for your time. |

I invested in a used Mackie 24-4 today! Sweet for the price of $800 CAD and in 100% working order, complete with case!
I can't wait to pick it up... mmmmm... 24 channels of inputability. I'll be like a kid in some kind of store! Chris Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |
