Hi guy's

Its been a while since I last posted so I hope your all good..

I recently had an insurance payout after binning my car and so I decided to treat myself to some KRK's, a Mac desktop and a proper studio desk to stick all my equipment on... But it turns out my desk might be a tad small which means my KRK's are going to be pushed up against my Mac monitor.
Is it in danger of screwing up the screen??? or does anyone know of anyhting to place in between ??

Cheers

Chalkie

??? I would think you'd be ok since speakers are oftewn placed next to monitors, but they're not usually krk strength...

Interested to know the answer here..

I think they will not damage it, they have magnetic isolation.

I very often put them on a side of one of my televisions and connect them to it, no problems so far, also I had left the units several days close to the t.v. without noticing any problem

And this is a CRT T.V.
Sanity cleansed daily.

It would only be vibration which could cause any problems and it's not the screen itself you need to worry about, it's all the other components like the hard drive.

I never knew about the magnetic isolation, thats good news. I've been looking at a solution for the vibrations problem and have found something called MOPADS, which is a high-tech resonance reducer...(a piece of foam!!). Not a cheap piece of foam either!!
