hi, i do mostly mobil work and this year unfortunally i got major shafted, i was supposed to spin a private party to bring in the new years and make some good money, but at the last min they cancled, so now i got no gig, and now i can't buy my new speakers anyway, what are you guys doing, or where are you spinning at? Anyone doing anything special?

ps - anyone need a dj for the new years eve lol!!!

i'm in vegas so i figure i'll just go out and party on the strip like everyone else.. this year they are planning a huge fireworks show, with like 14 of the strip hotels launching off synchronized fireworks all at the same time.. should be pretty dope, and you all will probably see little snapshots of it on TV the next day... also, a really really popular club called Utopia is finally reopening after a fire ripped the place apart early in the summer time.. so i might check that out too... no gigs for me either.. heh =P

I'm going to be scuba diving down in the warm waters of the Caribbean over New Years and DJing a three day party in Lake Placid, NY at the same time.

Huh?!? You say? Well, some folks I've DJ'd private parties for in the past wanted me to spin for them over three nights at a private function upstate, but I already had made plans to be out of the country. So they commissioned me to put together 3 mix CDs, one for each night. So I will be virtually DJing their party at the same time I'm enjoying the warm Caribbean seas!

I just finished the last mix last night. Ugh! Musta spent about 15+ hours putting together 4 hours of music.

it must be nice to dj and scuba at the same time (tell me how you worked that one out, i need to get some deals like that). Well since you worked so hard on your cd's, are you going to post them? I'd like to hear it!!! Any way, just a side note double a, the teen club didn't work out, we should b closing next week, the kid's rather be getting drunk and stoned than getting high off he music, but oh well, guess back to thoes mobil sweet 16's! I am headlining a Party in Atlanta Ga. for N.Y.E. Spinning 12-3 (or more if i want to) it is a semi private event. we have rented a 7000 Sq.Ft. venue, Lights, Sound, A bartender and full bar, i believe one of my computer friends is working on a visual display too with 2 LCD projectors....
