I didn't say that, i said nothing of the sort!!
Ah no i used to like his stuff back before every scanger was going round shouting TI....ESTO (in best scanger accent!)I would have bought a lot of his records before he started doing his, ahem, "concerts". Thought nyana was a very good mix-cd. I'm so sick of hearing that adagio for my left testicle or what ever its called! Just have this feeling that most of the people listening to him now have no actual passion for dance music, they have just bought into a big marketing campaign. They prob couldn't name any older track he's done and just have no realisation of what electronic music is all about. They would never go into a music shop and maybe look at getting a different dance cd but why would they when they see "Trance Anthems/Classics 2002/2003/2004/2005/2006/etc" If he released an abba track and put his name on it you'd prob hear all the dublin scumbags going round singing "dancing queen...." imagine?! I'm not stereotyping or generalising, i know there's people who like him that aren't like this. |

I do agree with you mate but I like these new housey sessions he's been playing more than his trance ones. I recently bought the EOL Dvd and hate the second disc "Sound of Tiesto" but the first disc is beautiful with tracks by Himself, Deadmau5 & Randy Boyer etc. Adagio For Strings IS more of a pop/trance tune now....

I agree with you completely noc2u2!!!! The only thing that excites me about him being part of the "big marketing campaign" is the fact that his shows can be bigger louder and more visually appeasing. I saw him in september when he was in LA and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life due to the fact that while he did play off the elements of life cd he was still able to bring in great tracks like flight 643 and some mixes off his in search of sunrise cd's... lol unfortunately though we had to bear with the kids that were dancing like a wave in the crowd when HE'S A PIRATE! came on lol...
