Dear ProDJ Forum-ers

Clubland’s all gone horribly wrong. Some of my tunes have gone missing.

The only copies of my three latest remixes went missing from the DJ booth at the International Music Summit in Ibiza. I was going to give them a test-run before dropping them at the opening of my new clubnight in Eden, Wonderland. I dropped them off in the DJ booth, went for a meeting, and when I came back the USB stick with the tracks was gone — a weird silver symbol and a note scratched on a silver scroll were sitting in their place.

I know you all do a lot of time in clubland – now I need your help recovering my tunes.

My mates at Pioneer ProDJ have been generous enough to offer a reward – they’re giving up a Pioneer CDJ-400 CD deck to the person who finds my tracks. I’ll keep you updated on DJSounds.com.

Welcome to the forum! It's always awesome to see the true superstars posting on the forums, too bad it's under such disappointing circumstances. (Although I love the ironic post title - and for those who haven't seen the movie by the same name, go see it.)

I hope you're able to get back the missing goods! If it turns up in Western Canada, I'll let you know.

Oh yeah, I'm sure the only copy has been bounced to a USB stick and the original Logic etc file has magically disappeared!

Plus, like all pros, he will be a Mac user and will have an excellent automated backup courtesy of Time Machine.



(I am still willing to help look, however. I could do with a CDJ400 to play with with Serato!!)

Good for him for caring enough to spread the message. That person really needs a better cellphone.

You talk about stegographically hiding data in some music. Which program did you use cause I have had qualified software technician look at your files and they contain no hidden data under the music.

files? What files?

Picture files were hidden inside the mp3s on one of the blogs.
