You guys are ALWAYS bitching about wanting Pioneer T-shirts and the like...

Well, I've got good news.

I'm moving and while packing stuff up, I came across a treasure-trove of Pioneer goodness. I have many shirts (yes, including the coveted "J'adore le DJ" shirts) and some other odds and ends. Who knows, maybe I can get the Pioneer guys to sweeten the deal with a pair of headphones or maybe even a player or two?

How is this contest going down? First off, you need to suggest what kind of contest we'll have. You heard me right, YOU will be the ones coming up with the ideas for what kind of contest we will run for all this glorious stuff. Once we've got your submissions, we'll pick one - the winning idea will net its owner a prize, of course.

So here's the rules...

1. This contest is open to EVERYONE, world-wide! HOWEVER... if you are going to submit a contest idea, you must also be willing to participate in the contest!

2. Contest ideas must be posted as a reply to this thread by midnight (PST) June 30th, 2008. The contest will be decided upon and posted July 1st, 2008.

3. The Contest idea must make sense and allow for as many people to participate as possible. While you can submit any idea, the stupid ones or those who eliminate a broad spectrum of participants obviously won't be chosen.

4. Make it interesting!

That's all.

How about the most unusual/creative location for a CDJ or DJM to be used? Pictures and/or video essential.

If someone gets headphones and it's not me I'll be pissed. I'm still waiting for my headphones from DJ Expo 2006.

I like this idea.. I think for a add on it would be really cool to include a picture of who you are jamming out on pioneer gear with crowd interaction Just my 2 cents... giggles.. I like free pioneer stuff.. Its always fun times...

yeah a 10 minute mix would be great I think.

And judging on creativity & skill must be the priority here in my opinion.

I for example, don't like r&b & hip hop BUT if the skill behind it is the best, it's the winner

...and that's always the problem if the mixes are judged by other forum members. Too often it's a crapshoot of taste, even with the suggested voting format I created for other mix-offs.

Pulse and 3 hot girls should be the judges..ha

If it's going to be a mix-off, the mixing should be videotaped or something. What's to stop someone from using a pc to mix?
