Hi everybody I decided to show you my new dj table I custom made to accompany my CDJs and DJM mixer. I Took a few pictures to show you my work.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/dj__trooper/table3.jpg I called up a local glass dealer and send them the specs for my table. I decided to go with see trough black to match my CDJS. After getting my glass in, I visited Canadian Tire to buy some automotive suction cups that hold canoes up on your vehicul. Thanks to Home Depot I found some huge brackets to mount the whole kit up. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/dj__trooper/Table2.jpg It may look very risky and fragile to hold up all the gear but It does the trick quiet well. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/dj__trooper/Table1.jpg I made sure too mount it high to accomadate my 6'4" height. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/dj__trooper/table4.jpg |

Looks nice - the only thing I'd complain about would be the lack of a gap at the back to drop the cables down.

I could move the glass up abit to allow the cables to fall down. I'd make sure to moove the decks up to balance everything.

cool! It sure beats my makeshift plywood over a half of a bakers rack. In the sports bar I use a pro-line 4 tier stand on a piece of plywood painted black. Just enough to hold my decks, mixer, mixing board, and oddyssey stand for my mac-book. My concern is ergonomics because after 4 hrs of djing my neck and shoulders act up if it's too low. and strength/sturdiness. so it does'nt shake when I go crazy on the decks, or if the crowd gets too close or rowdy.
I once had to stiff-arm a dude over my setup because he was wrestling with his buddy, his back was up against my arm. While this was going on, I just got done jogging the beat match and was beginning to fade in the next track. I was also doing the one-ear cup method. anyways I like your set up! very unique! |

I would have the glass shop cut 6inches off the top, move it 1.5inches from the wall for the cables to drop or cut a half circle 2 inches in diameter. if the glass is closer to the wall the brakets will have less stress to deal with. ...maybe shorten the table too, unless you wnat to add another cdj.
send us an update when you are done with it. |

You need a frozen Denon rackmount for that.

You've transgressed forum rules by mentioning another manufacturer. Go and birch yourself immediately. |
