I just wanted to announce that a loss has hit the DJ community. Last week, Bruce Keslar passed away, he was the head of NAME. I have been a proud memeber of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers since 2003 and have benefitted from the group over the years.

I would see Bruce at every show I went to and he always remembered who I was and would make a point of saying hello. This was prior to me beinging at the Pioneer booth, so it was a genuine thing.

I didn't realize that Bruce was a DJ for 30 years and had over 2000 Weddings to his credit. I always liked NAME because there wasn't an agenda that other groups have, it was about the DJs and the DJs doing better. I respect anyone who works to help an industry grow and thrive, Bruce saw helping us out as a noble thing and worked to that end.

With life flying by so fast and all us so busy, it's times like these that slow us down and make us refocus what were looking at. Life boys and girls is fragile and fleeting. I just ask that you remember it and Bruce and have a good thought for those who are here and those that have gone to the otherside.
