I'm off to Tokyo for a couple of weeks starting tommorrow. Does anyone know locations of any DJ Equipement showrooms, or rumors of any equipement currently unavailable elsewhere that I should keep my eye out for?

Sorry Ivo, we will be in Aichi at that time, meeting family for New Year's. But we might be back in Tokyo again this Spring, where else do you spin?

Make sure you go check out "Yellow" club. They have many top DJs play. They have a different theme nights. i.e. house music, tecno. trance, drum & bass, etc.

I visited some DJ stores while I was in Tokyo a few weeks ago. Dont know where they are but here is some pictures. One store is called Paco and the other is called Power DJs, both somewhere in Tokyo (possibly Ripongi):

OK, here are my absolutely hot tips for tokyo
UNDERLINE Bar, under the yamanote line at shibuya station. familiar small club, cool people! (if you like ropongi better go not to underline!)(if you go there, say hello from me to koji! and say from where and how much you know me!)

Sugar High , especially friday night! (all you can drink for 2500yen!)

thank you karl for the shop thing, acctually i found power dj's by ikebe (they have a website) it is also in shibuya, close to underline.
i went to this shop with my cd bag and asked if i could use the players for a wile it was no problem, so i could spin for about 30 minutes...

Hey guys - thanks for the suggestions, how did sugar high go? Sorry I missed it ( We went down by Nagoya area for the weekend and new years). Found some thing new that I want to get some English detail on - I will put it in another postcalled RMX 99.
