Yeah......

The Pio. engineers would be getting stressed after seeing that....lol

someones figured out that the market for 'DJish products' is not at all restricted to people who would buy it to actually DJ!! Kinda like Range Rovers I guess? although this one's kinda more like a huyndai 4WD or something......lol

I lifted this quote directly from a review for the Pacemaker and thought you would all enjoy:

It starts off with some bull about Pioneer being expensive and then continues like this
"Oh, and no, DJing is no where near as hard to play as most other instruments, and you don't have to be pro to be good at it. Nearly anyone who takes a good 5 minutes doing it, can sound good.
This thing here though, it looks like a joke, but you never know, it might turn out to be a good device."

I've been playing the piano since I was 6, teaching myself {on and off admittedly} guitar with the past 4 years and only being DJing properly for over a year. To be honest, getting everything right during a gig puts me under more strain than playing the piano. I'm constantly learning something new with DJing, as I am sure even the most experienced DJs are. But apparently all our efforts are proving futile as all it takes is just "five minutes". I'm done ranting now.

Ya but with a maximum of 16gb flash memory would you really be bothered? Plus, its more than likely the music would be in AAC format {compressed by iTunes to fit more on the phone} down to a bitrate of 128. Quality issues?!

Found it, thanks. What a pity, I can't reply to that particular comment.

Why... Were you going to engage in a casual conversation and explain the finer points of DJing Wink?
Or just completely rip him a new one?

Somewhere in between. It seems like he/she is one of the people who doesn't understand that dj'ing is more than just pressing play. More than just beat matching. More than just taking requests. It's about reading the crowd, reading people, knowing more music than everyone else, and being able to hold alot of booze. Big Grin

Too true Darknez... A circus performer couldn't pull off that sort of balancing act! Perhaps this site shows us what is really in store for the DJ of the future!
