Hi guys,..

I have been a vinyl cat for years.. it is time to make the conversion. I want to start mixing out at clubs, so I need to understand the CDJ-1000 Mk3s, so I need a pair to practice, but obviously there is price considerations... so I think the 400s would be a much better option.

What I want to know is this - if I store all the cue points on a CDJ-400 then copy them via USB to a SD card.. can I pull that SD card out.. go to a club with CDJ-1000 Mk3s and drop the SD card in and have it recognise my cue points stored in memory?

I have looked everywhere for this info but cannot seems to find it.

Otherwise if I can't... seriously I would rather get some Denon DN-HS5500.

Hope you guys can shine some light on this for me..

Thanks for your help,
Nate

To be honest, I've never thought about trying that and I don't know if it would work - you're the first one to ask!

I'll email people "in the know". Wink

I'm told they're not compatible but I'm not entirely certain the engineers understood the question.

Anyone have a MK3 or DVJ and a 400 to try this out with?

I just tested it out from a CDJ400 to an MEP7000 and it worked (for a memory point stored for a song on a flash drive).

It could be that the MK3 and DVJs use a different cue memory storage method?

Nateaus, I'm asking the public because Pioneer's response was that it wouldn't work.
