Hi,guys, one of my CDJ 800MK2 won't scratch in Vynyl mode. Everything else is working, but when I try to scratch it jog dial is sliding and music just stops. The red dot on the jog dial display stays still when I try to scratch. Is anyone knows how I can fix it myself?

Sounds like it could be the jog position sensors are mucked up, not sure why. As Jay says, contact tech support (links above) and they should be able to help you.

Thank you guys, I'm in Europe now- they'll charge me a fortune here, so i'm trying to find ways to fix it myself while I have extra ones to use for gigs and it's out of the warranty anyway.. This one was subject to extensive heat while it was in L.A. storage- that might explain why it happened.

Even if your going DIY onit, try tech support and see if they have any thoughts or suggestions before you DIY to a DOA and end up with a POS and are SOL...

It sounds like the platter sensor switch could be damaged.
