I picked up another cdj a couple of days ago, this time a UK one 230v.
I already own a US 110v one. When they are bothe side by side and on with a disc in, the platter display on the UK one is far brighter than the US one, is this due to age (the US one is a year old & UK one 3 mths) or is it becasue a step down transformer is being used to give 110v, or is there a function to alter the brightnes? Thanks again guys for you help! |

uk = men's voltage
us = girls' voltage US versions have to devote more current to processing audio, rather than illuminating the DJ booth. hth Stu |

Well.. The US unit IS auto voltage switchable, as is the UK one..But doesnt solve the brightness of the display

It depends on a few factors: where the unit was manufactured, what run it was, etc. etc., which can alter the brightness based solely on the display unit that was used at the time.
There's no real way to "fix" it - one's just dimmer because of manufacturing time differences. -r- |
