I have been reading advertisments from around the net and according to several sites there is a limited number of CDJ-1000's to be sold on the early July release date. Look to me like equipment dealers are trying to make a quick buck off the hype. However it does raise a concern, because I want two as soon as I can get two. Is there an initially short supply of CDJ-1000's? I just don't want to have to wait till september to get them.

Although we have sold ALL incoming stock that is arriving in July to our dealers there is plenty that is coming in. However just to make sure as we cannot judge what the demand will REALLY be until it is released I would find a dealer that takes layaway deposits and make sure he has placed an order with Pioneer for the CDJ-1000s. If he still has not then he will need to wait until the next round of stock that will be coming in August. If you have problems finding a dealer that has ordered stock and that takes pre-orders email me and I will give you a list of dealers in your area.

when the salesman heard my voice he said: "You know that this an expensive piece of equiptment, heh? the price is around $1200..."

I just laughed and said: "**** it, write me down for 2, baby..."
