I found the vinyl mode of the 1000s to be the most comfortable CD player I've mixed on. I started on CDs but made a switch over to vinyl. Since then the most comfortable CD experience I've had was on the 1000s. Probably because I could cue up like you can on vinyl. No stutter cueing.
 I assume the 800s would carry that feel over. |

Got mu 800s a few weeks ago. Now I got a nice setup 2 1Ks, 2 800s and a 600. No regretrs whatsoever , and I come from a vinyl background.
