Hi everyone,
This is my first post on the Pioneer forums. I have a question, and yes I have searched for the answer first but have not found it. I have bought one of my CDJ 800 MK2's from here in Australia, however I noticed that there is a voltage selector on the back of the CDJ, allowing you to switch from 110-120V to 220-240V. Does this mean I could buy a CDJ 800 MK2 from the USA (MUCH MUCH CHEAPER) which takes 110-120V and just switch the voltage to 220-240V on the back of the player? Thanks in advance for your help! I have never seen a CDJ with a voltage selector on it. If you buy one from the US you will probably just have to buy a converter, you can pick them up cheap from any decent hardware shop. Hope this helped

From what I understand there is only one region which has the voltage selector on the CDJ800MK2 - Singapore. (And in Pioneer terms, that's a big region, not just that country.)
You should buy within your own country if only for the warranty. If you bought from the US you'd have no warranty, no support and you'd have to use a step-down transformer which adds the extra risk. Pioneer National Trainer // Product Specialist |
